I went to his house party here in Atlanta (album release), and it was absolutely amazing. I’m not usually one to buy albums much anymore, but I bought a hard copy of this one and it was well worth it!

One thing is certain when Crowder releases new music: It won’t be like anything you’ve heard. On I Know A Ghost, Crowder continues to blend genres. Banjos, fiddles, and foot stomping? Check. Atlanta hip-hip beats? Check. R&B? Check. Latin? Check. While on paper, some of the combinations shouldn’t work, Crowder manages to craft catchy tunes that are raucous fun while maintaining lyricism that delves deeper than your average CCM. Although it falls shy of being his greatest offering, I Know A Ghost still finds Crowder on top of his game and is a strong contender for album of the year.
